Chicago house producer Jordan Fields recorded tracks for an array of smallhouse labels throughout the late ’90s, establishing himself as one of the Windy City’s more promising talents. Bigger labels such as SSR eventually began releasing his work, and big-name DJs such as Roy Davis Jr. featured his tracks in their mixes. During his late-’90s rise to prominence, Fields recorded for Catalyst, Track Mode, SOM Underground, Mood Groove, Maffia, and several others.
